Emo Punk band Live Well has returned with new music for the first time in over six years. The band has announced their forthcoming EP, More Than You Can Give, set to be released on September 3rd, 2026. Along with the news, they have revealed the lead single and music and video for “Good Ones” a very personal track about “racist microaggressions.”

Frontman Paul Masbad says about the EP:

This next ep MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE is made up of songs written 6 years ago. Revisiting them now was like traveling back in time and having a conversation with our past selves. Each song is a representation of who I was, who I am, and who I want to become. It’s the band’s past, present, and future in eight minutes.

He continues about the lead single:

‘GOOD ONES’ is about a time in my life where I was one of the few people of color in predominately white spaces. More often than not I’d find myself in situations where people around me would, maybe without realizing, say some pretty heinous and racist things to me. In a way, ‘GOOD ONES’ is the confrontation I’ve always wanted to be in those situations but couldn’t. In a way, it’s my attempt to take back that term “good one”. It’s for anyone who’s been called that in their lives.

Fans can look forward to hearing new music live for the first time this summer. The band will be performing alongside friends For Lack Of A Term, Career Day, Cellmate, Girls Wish, Ghost Tour, and more for a series of local shows.
