Filmmaker, musician, and Parton-family relative Sabyn has released “Worthy,” a new Hip-Hop and faith-driven single featuring Californian country singer/songwriter Callie Twisselman. This is the pair’s first collaboration together and it arrives via OwePar Entertainment. It’s accompanied by a video.
“Worthy” ties back to Sabyn’s Christian faith-focused second solo album, Long Live, released in 2025. The piano-driven new track was inspired by a three-day silent retreat at the Abbey of Gethsemani monastery in Trappis, Kentucky and blends Hip-Hop Production with Country and Gospel influences. Callie Twisselman brings her own Country-Pop-influences the track and it fits in with her often faith-inspired songwriting, such as on her EP, Growing in Grace.
Sabyn addressed fans on Instagram about the track, after thanking the many people who have supported him in his life:
This is the culmination of a roller coaster of a life. But one thing I never did was lose faith. I knew deep down that change was possible, and I stand before you a changed man. Thank you to the ride to dies that never gave up on me and believed in me until I believed in myself.
Sabyn and Callie Twisselman have also both collaborated separately with Dolly Parton. Sabyn first worked with his aunt on a hip-hop rendition of “9 to 5 to 9” from his 2021 EP Halfway There. He later released “Holy Water” featuring Dolly Parton on the 2024 Owens-Parton family collaboration album Smoky Mountain DNA: Family, Faith and Fables, followed by a revised version of “Shine” from his 2025 album Storybook: The Journey So Far. Callie Twisselman, meanwhile, appeared alongside Dolly Parton, Jessie James Decker, and Maddie & Tae on the 2024 single “Gonna Be You.”
Sabyn is a music Producer who expanded his career into screenwriting, directing, and producing for music videos, making his film directorial debut in 2017 with Boomtown starring Rachel Brosnahan, Boyd Holbrook, and Dwight Yoakam. Sabyn now continues to lead his production efforts with his imprint, Stay Fly LLC, and serves as CEO of The Bridge to Recovery, a trauma and codependency treatment center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He also continues to record music that blends Hip Hop with his family’s Country and Americana roots.
Callie Twisselman hails from a multi-generational grain and cattle ranch in California and found her first musical inspiration through her mother, a touring Country singer. After years of playing throughout California, she relocated to Nashville full-time in 2017, where she signed a publishing deal with Vintern Songs and eOne Music Publishing and released her debut EP, Closure, in 2021, produced by Grammy Award-winner Aaron Pearce. In December of 2025, she released her EP Growing in Grace, a very personal project that blends modern Country with storytelling. She was also invited to make her Grand Ole Opry debut after the EP release.
