“St. June” is the first single from A.J. Fullerton’s new concept EP, Baretone, recorded at Mark Anderson’s Cowboy Cowabunga Ranch in Evergreen, CO. The track features Fullerton on baritone guitar, slide guitar, and bass, Tim Carman of Parlor Greens on drums, and Lauren Frihauf on backing vocals.

“St. June” explores themes of “reverence and devotion—the kind that blurs the line between admiration and worship.” The new album Baretone arrives on September 11th, 2026.

The album Baretone captures the first time Fullerton & Carman sat down to play together. Tracked with little planning or prep, the session was spontaneous. The core session was tracked live in the room.

Fullerton’s latest solo album, Magnetic Light (Gitcha Records, 2025), merges classic influences with a contemporary edge. In April 2026, Fullerton also released a sophomore duo album of acoustic & harmonica Blues classics with Jake Friel, Fullerton & Friel, Vol. II (Gitcha Records).
