Nashville-based Folk/Pop trio The Arcadian Wild has announced that their new album Make It Out Alive will arrive on August 14th, 2026. Their fourth album Make It Out Alive is “a celebration of hope, love, and joy in the face of overcoming personal loss and emotional upheaval.”
After more than ten years together, the band is in a “creative reformation”, and they co-wrote all the songs collectively for the first time, as well as working with an outside Producer for the first time. The single “Cool To Know You” is out now, and reminds audiences of “the light we bring to others, even when we can’t see it ourselves.”
Guitarist/vocalist Isaac Horn explains about the song:
The ultimate freedom arrives when you realize you can’t avoid being wounded. Once you come to terms with that, you realize that you might as well let yourself be vulnerable enough to experience real connection, to let yourself feel the whole range of human emotion and get caught up in whatever beautiful story the world has in store for you.
Recorded in Nashville with producer/mixer Micah Tawlks (Judah & The Lion, The Brook & The Bluff), Make It Out Alive features a “layered soundscape that blurs the lines between Folk, Country, Bluegrass, choral, and Pop music.”
The album thematically embraces “mortality as a gift” and is a “cathartic, deeply personal reckoning with life’s impermanence that learns to find purpose and meaning in sorrow and mourning.”
