Erdve is a Metal band from Vilnius, Lithuania, who have been experimenting with extreme music since 2016. They have recently released the title track from their upcoming third album, Epigrama. Following previous singles “Nyra” and “Ydos”, “Epigrama” follows the album’s arc “from grief and moral decay to existential reckoning.”

The band is known to choose to perform in places that “intuitively seem incoherent to the type of music being played or are not considered to be regular venues.” Their first show of this kind took place in the church of St. John in 2019 and another one in Lukiškės Ex-Prison, both in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Erdve’s Epigrama album builds on familiar ground but also “takes a fundamentally different approach towards experimenting within the confines of heavy music and reflective storytelling.” The goal was to craft “a meticulous consistency” between the music, lyrics and sound production.
