Thee Sinseers Built Upcoming Album ‘Love Stories’ Through Truly Collective Effort

Thee Sinseers have released the lead single, “Did Ya Know?”, from their forthcoming studio album Love Stories.

Arriving from Colemine Records, Love Stories, is not an album that explores “a neat and tidy love story.” Rather, “The vision of love put forth on this record is full-spectrum.”

Bandleader Joey Quiñones adds about the album:

It’s a solidifying statement of where we are now. This is our style.

In contrast to their previous debut LP Sinseerly Yours, which had developed organically from a four-piece into an eleven-member ensemble, Love Stories was built “as a collective effort — every role established before the band entered the studio.”

Quiñones says:

We went in knowing these are the roles that are gonna be played by these people. Everybody was considered wholeheartedly in every arrangement aspect.

To achieve what they’re reaching for on this album, every member of Thee Sinseers had to check their ego at the door and take part in a lineup that welcomes new additions, including expanded roles for familiar faces, and even string arrangements from newcomer Skip Heller.
