DiWulf Publishing has announced its partnership with Earth Island Books for the U.S. release and promotion of An Anarchy of Demons, the memoir of Charlie Harper of U.K. Subs.
In this book Charlie Harper delivers an account of his life in his own voice. An Anarchy of Demons takes readers “from his early years as a wartime child through boarding schools for ‘misfit boys,’ his adventurous youth, struggles and triumphs as a musician, turbulent personal experiences, and his extraordinary journey through decades of punk rock history.”

The memoir chronicles Harper’s work with the U.K. Subs, his solo recordings, and his many side projects. Illustrated throughout with rare and previously unseen photographs from Harper’s personal archive, An Anarchy of Demons fills a much needed gap for music fans.
The book features a Foreword by Lars Frederiksen of Rancid, alongside cover artwork by Steve Dann of Magpie Art, the original painting of which hangs in Harper’s home.
An Anarchy of Demons is available in paperback from DiWulf Publishing, and contains 478 full-color pages “offering an unprecedented look into the life and legacy of a true punk icon.”
