Rita Bliss Readies ‘Live From London’ EP Capturing The Universality Of Storytelling

Austin-based Folk artist Rita Bliss will release her new live EP, Live from London, on June 5, 2026. Recorded at the Green Note in London on February 21, 2026, the EP captures a glimpse of a stripped down presentation of Bliss’s songwriting.

The live EP captures three original tracks “July,” “Texarkana,” and “Two Dollar Bill.” Bliss has also released a live performance video of “Texarkana,” filmed during the London set.

Recorded live in London by Oscar Cainer and mixed by Patrick Herzfeld of Signal Hill Recording, Bliss describes it as “an unforgettable experience that really proved the universality of certain stories”.

Bliss draws from Appalachian banjo traditions while weaving in the storytelling of Americana music. Her songs explore themes of “queer love, heartbreak, and human connection.”

Bliss will release her second studio album this Fall, marking another collaboration with producer Dom Fisher of Wood & Wire. The album will consist of ten new original songs and will include contributions from Noah Griffin (fiddle) and Billy Bright (mandolin).
