Cellofame Records have announced the 20th anniversary release of My Weapon, the seminal album from Austin, Texas’s pioneering all-female Punk band, The Applicators. Arriving June 15, 2026, the record will finally see its debut on vinyl, newly remastered and pressed in a limited neon metallic pink edition of 500 copies worldwide.

Originally released on CD in 2006, My Weapon coincided with the height of The Applicators international touring era. Partly recorded and produced in London, UK, before being completed back home in Austin, the album captures gritty, Melodic Punk along with Street Punk and riot grrrl energy.

This anniversary release carries deeper weight for the band: after years of persistence, the band has officially regained full ownership of their master recordings. Now the album is “fully reclaimed—presented on their own terms, in its purest form.”

My Weapon is a time capsule of what inspired later generations of punk fans, especially women carving out their own space in the scene.

To celebrate, The Applicators will hit the road in 2026 with a hometown Austin record release show, followed by a Texas run and West Coast dates, bringing these songs back to the stage.
