Latin vocalist, percussionist, and songwriter Anthony Almonte (The E Street Band, Disciples of Soul) has returned with new single “Rompecorazones,” out via Wicked Cool Records. The track is the latest preview of his debut full-length album, Conversando Con La Luna, arriving May 15, 2026. The project blends the traditions of Salsa with contemporary Pop and Rock influences.
Featuring Cuban trumpet player and vocalist Alexander Abreu, “Rompecorazones” also features Almonte’s expressive vocal delivery.
Almonte comments:
‘Rompecorazones’, which literally means heartbreaker, begins with a beautiful, unfolding melody that tells the story of a love powerful enough to transform you, inspiring you to rise as the best version of yourself in hopes of winning her heart. The song then erupts into an explosive burst of salsa energy, and there was no one better than the multi-talented Alexander Abreu to help me deliver that level of excitement with such depth and sensibility.
Conceptually, the album “traces a journey of personal transformation, following a protagonist shedding an older version of himself while stepping into the uncertainty of what lies ahead.”

Central to the album’s sound is co-Producer and pianist Jonathan Montes, whose arrangements help shape its musical landscape.
Stevie Van Zandt of Wicked Cool Records says:
Finally, the world will get to experience the full range of Anthony’s multiple talents. Something we’ve known about in the Disciples of Soul and the E Street Band for quite a while now. We are proud to welcome him to the Wicked Cool Family.
