Draamakuu is a new duo comprised of the rapper Draama-Helmi (Helmi Kajaste) and the dream-looper Kuupuu (Jonna Karanka). Fonal Records will release their debut album, Toinen vaihe (Another phase) on June 12th 2026, marking a new departure in both musicians’ bodies of work. Draamakuu’s aim is to “be, together, more boastful and delirious than ever before.”

The song “Pitti” arrives today. “Pitti (The Pit)” is accompanied by a music video directed by Sami Sänpäkkilä.

Draama-Helmi and Kuupuu have each released several solo records, and their musical careers of over ten years include various collaborative projects and, among other things, silent film accompaniments.

The tracks on Toinen vaihe were dreamed up together between 2024 and 2026. Helmi Kajaste is responsible for the lyrics and Jonna Karanka for the music. The album also features guest appearances by Miikka Sipilä (Kuuhullu, Sunnuntait, Pitti, Huhuu), Kanttoripoika (Vika hidas) and HEX VIIHDE (Vika hidas).

The album will be released on black vinyl and also as a limited edition coloured vinyl. Digitally, the album will be available on Bandcamp and most streaming platforms.
