Singer/songwriter Eric Kane has returned the single “right by my side,” out now via Wax Records. The new song focuses on a “more grounded, expansive kind of love” for Kane, “one rooted in timing, trust, and the quiet certainty of finding the right person.”

Kane says:

After ten years of solitude and self-reflection, ‘right by my side’ came from a place of finally being ready to invite love in. It’s about finding someone who meets me at the same level I’ve learned to love myself.

“right by my side” focuses on “a kind of love that feels lasting and fully grounded; rooted not in grand gestures, but in choosing each other every day.”

The single builds on fan reaction to the song “water my soul,” and while that track was marked by weight and vulnerability, “right by my side” lets in “a little more light, a little more certainty, and a deeper sense of what it means to build a life with someone.”
