Miles Davis’ album of seminal early work, Birth Of The Cool, will be released in a new Tone Poet Vinyl Edition to arrive on May 22, 2026 in celebration of the legendary trumpeter’s Centennial. Produced by Joe Harley, the album was mastered by Kevin Gray directly from the original analog phono reel master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI & packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket.

This mono Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray (Cohearent Audio) from the original analog phono reel master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at Record Technology Inc. (RTI), and packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket featuring session photos.
