Southern California Rock band Robert Jon & The Wreck have returned with the single, “Run Back To Me”, out now on all major streaming platforms. A “road-worn ballad”, the track “captures the emotional push and pull of life on tour and the ties that keep you grounded when you’re far from home.” Their latest studio album is Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes.
The song began with songwriter Desirae Megan, who was struck by a photo of Robert Jon with his family, thinking about how difficult it can be to stay connected to the people you love while living on the road. Months later, during a drive to a show, Desirae Megan and keyboardist Jake Abernathie began shaping the idea into a full song, laying the foundation for what would become “Run Back To Me.”
“Run Back To Me” continues a run of releases from the band following their studio album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes, produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb and released via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records.
With “Run Back To Me” now out in the world, the band remains in motion. Following a busy U.S. run and a European tour this Spring, Robert Jon & The Wreck will continue their Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes tour throughout the year, bringing their live show to audiences across the U.S. and abroad.
