Seahaven Returns After Six Years With A Self-Titled Fourth Album And Sets Out On Tour

Six years after the release of their album Halo of Hurt, California-based band Seahaven have returned with news of their upcoming fourth studio self-titled album, arriving June 5th 2026 via Pure Noise Records. The band have also released the new single and music video for “Midnight Hour.”

“Midnight Hour” moves “between melancholic reflection and cathartic release”, a pattern that runs throughout the record.

The album was self-Produced, engineered by Alex Estrada at Pale Moon Ranch in Juniper Hills, CA, and mixed and mastered by Grammy Award-winning producer Will Yip.

Written primarily by vocalist and guitarist Kyle Soto, the album began to take shape in April 2025 when Soto wrote “Wedding Bells,” the first song for the record. Working out of his home studio, Soto often completed full song outlines in a single night, following what he describes as a creative “flow state” that allowed songs to come naturally.

Soto explains:

Clearly, there’s been a lot going on in my life over the past couple of years that I’m sorting through. I wasn’t consciously trying to put it all into songs, but I’d sit down with a guitar to see what would happen, and I’d end up writing.

Once those initial ideas were formed, Soto brought them to the rest of the band, guitarist Cody Christian, bassist Mike DeBartolo, and drummer Eric Findlay, who recorded the album together at Pale Moon Ranch.

Soto says:

This album takes elements from all of our previous releases and rolls them into one. It accurately represents our sound, so it felt fitting to have it serve as a statement that says, ‘This is the sound of the band.’

The band is gearing up for a run of live shows in the UK and Europe kicking off April 20. Seahaven has also announced the dates of an upcoming US headline tour kicking off June 2 in San Diego, CA at Soma Sidestage. Dates run through the end of the month and will hit cities like Brooklyn, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago and more.
