Indie Rock band Krooked Kings have shared “Damage Control”, the latest release from the band’s forthcoming album, In Another Life, out March 27, 2026. The LP was recorded in Los Angeles with Producer Yves Rothman (Blondshell, Yves Tumor), mixed by Lawrence Rothman (Amanda Shires, Marissa Nadler), and mastered by Emily Lazar (Jacob Collier, HAIM, Vampire Weekend).
“Damage Control” finds the band “examining the self-destructive habits that strain their closest relationships.” The song moves between “regret and realization” reflecting on what happens “when attempts to fix things come a little too late.”
Dave Macey says of the single:
‘Damage Control’ is a song we wrote long ago but we couldn’t quite figure out what to do on the chorus. Naturally we made it as big and loud as possible and that seemed to do the trick. It’s a song about getting drunk and embarrassing yourself. Simple, straightforward, rock and roll. FFO: Cage the Elephant, Backseat Lovers, Inhaler.

In Another Life was written in the wake of an intense touring period, and the new material reflects a band “leaning further into vulnerability while embracing a more expansive dynamic range.”
Krooked Kings will support the album release with a headline tour beginning this Spring.
