Alternative acoustic artist Nicole Alexis (stylized as N/A) has announced her forthcoming EP, Mirrors and Smoke, due out April 17th, 2026. Mirrors and Smoke features recent single “Don’t Tell Me To Breathe”, as well as 4 new tracks, all written and conceived by the multi-instrumentalist songwriter.

This EP captures the emotional push and pull of loving someone you know you probably shouldn’t. Each song represents a different moment in that cycle — from holding onto hope, to confronting the damage, to finally realizing you deserve more. It’s a reflection on how easy it is to lose yourself trying to fix something that was never yours to fix.

New single “Just A Friend”, which N/A teased last year while performing at Vans Warped Tour on The Unplugged Stage in Orlando, is set is to be released on March 20th and is available for pre-save now here.

N/A has built a following online doing stripped back and looped covers of songs from New Found Glory, Kelly Clarkson, Smashing Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance, A Day To Remember, Dashboard Confessional, blink-182, and more.

Now she prepares to release her first full EP of original music.
