New York City Alternative Rock band King Falcon has shared new track “Holding Out“ alongside a beachy music video, and announced live dates across North America through March and April, supporting NYC Rock artist Des Rocs on select dates.
“Holding Out,” explores “the conscious effort to believe in brighter days.”
On the track’s meaning, frontman and primary songwriter Michael Rubin (vocals, lead guitar) says:
‘Holding Out’ is the moment you stop standing at the crossroads, choose a path that feels right, and walk it with quiet faith that better days are on their way.
Rubin adds on the video:
The song just felt like California — so filming the video there felt like the most natural decision we could make. The skateboarding comes from Hayden McKenna, who was not only incredible to spend the day with, but has this rare ability to make the impossible look effortless.

Formed in 2020 in the local Brooklyn music scene, King Falcon consists of Rubin (vocals, lead guitar), bassist Joe Conserva, and drummer Dipayan “Dip” Chakraborty.
They released their self-titled debut album in 2023. The group has since shared stages with The Struts and Sublime with Rome.
