Songwriter and recording artist Benjamin Tod has previously announced his upcoming LP, Vengeance and Grace, on which Tod presents two parallel worlds: (Alone) is a stripped-down, solo-acoustic version, and it is paired with its full band counterpart. Together, the two versions ahsow “restraint on one side, force on the other.”
He has recently released new single “I Ain’t Bound” from the “force” side of the album, with an (Alone) version to follow. It marks Vengeance and Grace’s album-ender, and one that he calls “a decade-long response” to his tune “I Will Rise,” which originally closed out Tod’s 2017 album of the same name.
“I Ain’t Bound (Alone)” is due out on March 6th. Vengeance and Grace will arrive on April 17th, 2026 via Thirty Tigers.
With the arrival of their first child into the world, Tod and his partner and Lost Dog Street Band bandmate Ashley Mae announced the indefinite hiatus of Lost Dog and the arrival of a brand new touring outfit for 2026: Benjamin Tod & The Inline Six.
Beginning in April, Tod and the band will headline shows coast to coast until October. A full list of tour dates can be found below or at benjamintodmusic.com/tour.
