Listening Party’s ‘High & Low’ Brings A Rock ‘n Roll Twist To Their Americana Sound

Listening Party’s band members have shifted over the years, and their last album, Been a Long Time Comin was written and recorded by original members Weston Mueller and Jacob Wood as a duo. The pair has since teamed up with upright bassist Travis Worth and Guitar player Tyler Furrer to “once again evolve the direction of the sound and songwriting.”

Due out on February 19th, 2026, Listening Party’s new album is titled High & Low, also marking their fifth full length album. Recorded and produced by Kyle White at Wire and Vice, High & Low is the amalgamation of the band’s acoustic Americana sound with a new Rock’n’Roll twist.

Listening Party’s first single, “KK River Blues” is out now, where the band “gives it all up to go and live by the river.” The song “takes you on a near hallucinogenic experience as you enter the mind ofa hopeless vagabond looking for salvation in all of the wrong places.” Though it’s a “whimsical journey”, the song explores the very real Kinnickinnic River in the band’s hometown of Milwaukee, WI.

If you’re in the Wisconsin area you can hear Listening Party for their album release tour starting January 16th, 2026.
