Rock band Gluecifer returned last September with their single “The Idiot”, twenty-one years after their last studio album. With that, the Norwegian band laid the foundation for their album, Same Drug, New High, which arrives on the 16th of January 2026 via Steamhammer. Now, they have also released the single, “I’m Ready.”

Singer Biff Malibu says:

One of the last songs we wrote for the record. Captain Poon had worked out a chord structure that fell into place really fast, and that we felt had a kinda of happy and positive ring to it. I threw in some lyrics on the same note, and the song sort of wrote itself from there.

The band, who returned to releasing music after their reunion in spring 2018, continue to play their combination of Punk Rock, Rock’n‘Roll, and Glam.

The new recording will be supported by an extensive European tour in spring 2026, scheduled to kick off in Sweden on the album‘s release date, and take Gluecifer to Germany and Spain, among other countries.
