Belgian Black Metal band Enthroned have released their twelfth album, Ashspawn. The new album was “conceived during six years of ritualistic creation.”

Written in collaboration with occult author Gilles de Laval, it “descends into spiritual death, only to emerge reborn amongst the flames.” The official album stream is available now on Season of Mist’s Youtube channel.

More than three decades after they formed, Enthroned are determined “not to replicate the past, but to realign with the forces that birthed them.” Ashspawn is an album that “rejects nostalgia and compromise.” It delivers “a resurrection of spirit through suffering.”
