Magnolia Boulevard’s Self-Titled Debut Evokes The Struggles Of Appalachian People

Magnolia Boulevard have released their debut self-titled album that has been many years in the works, interrupted by covid, lineup changes, and life staking its claim. Along with it, they have released the single and video for “Nomad”.

Frontwoman Maggie Noelle says:

Things happen when they’re supposed to happen. And I’m so proud of this music coming out now with this group of dudes—it’s like we’re finally getting what we kind of deserve.

The album was captured by Kentucky producer Duane Lundy, and spans genres, while built upon a foundation of Blues and Soul.

Keyboardist Ryan Allen comments:

We like a lot of different things, so we knew we didn’t want to be restricted by any specific genre. These are songs and stories of the struggles of Appalachian people, these little snapshots of time of what it’s like to live around here—from our perspective.

The band have a long live play history and are also playing this album out. A full list of upcoming tour dates can be found below or at magnoliaboulevardband.com/tour
