Last Year, Harvey Rushmore & The Octopus took their Album Freedomspacecake on a European tour, bringing their Psychedelic/Garage Rock sound to fans. After a “brief creative pause”, the Basel, Switzerland-based band is back with their new album, Mindsuckers, set to be released on Taxi Gauche Records on March 13th, 2026.

Where Freedomspacecake was “cosmic and fuzz-driven”, Mindsuckers enters a “darker, dystopian realm.” The album blends aims to “create a sonic tension that mirrors the turbulence of the present day.”

Inspired by “old horror films, B-movies, AI dystopias, and the collapsing boundaries of reality,” Mindsuckers “balances nostalgia and future dread.”
