Canadian Roots-Rock duo The Bros. Landreth, consisting of brothers Joey and Dave Landreth, blend Blues and Americana. They have just released their new album, Dog Ear, which reflects a very personal development. It was inspired by the camaraderie of their live lineup, rounded out by Roman Clarke, Murray Pulver, and Ian Phillips. The single and video for “Vincent” are out now.

Written “during a period of new parenthood, shifting priorities, and hard-earned emotional clarity,” the album explores themes of “family, presence, and what it means to stay grounded when life keeps you moving.” The also features special guest contributions from Begonia, Glenn Patscha, and two vocal appearances from Bonnie Raitt.

The track “Vincent” was written by Dave Landreth, paints a portrait of “someone who is fearless and magnetic yet unable to change, grow, or move forward.” It was built from “fragments of real people Dave has loved.”

The album Dog Ear is crafted from “the lived experience of being touring musicians, fathers, and brothers.”
