German-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Producer M. Byrd has releases his new album, A Better Place via Nettwerk. The album reflects “the joy and uncertainty” as M. Byrd embraces the changes that come with becoming a father.

M. Byrd says about the album:

I think you can hear in the songs that some kind of liberation happened in me, and without this music, I wouldn’t have been able to observe myself during the biggest change in my life. We live in a world that is deeply paradoxical, and nowadays, it is just as paradoxical when a new life enters this planet, because the human species is the reason this planet is in so much trouble in the first place. But every birth and every moment is a chance to look within yourself, acknowledge that paradox, and find your peace with it in order to take the action we need to make this world… a better place.

In 2023, M. Byrd released his first full-length LP, The Seed. Around the same time, the “onset of fatherhood turned his world upside down in the best way.” This led to his 2025 full-length offering, A Better Place.
