After four years in the making, Los Angeles Punk/Power-Pop band The Manic Standstill have just released their new album, Moving, via Double Helix Records and Wiretap Records.
Frontman Adam Bones, whose résumé includes work with Save Ferris, Richie Ramone, Josie Cotton, The Two Tens, and more, helms the project. The album was primarily produced by Bones and drummer Brad Dickert, with two tracks (“Reasons Why” and “Bulletproof”) produced by Davey Warsop (Green Day, Foo Fighters, Bad Cop/Bad Cop).
Adam Bones shares:
This album has been 4 years in the making and we’re so excited that it’s finally coming out! We feel very grateful for everyone that was involved in making MOVING happen. So many friends participated in its creation and it was wonderful to collaborate with all of them. The album tackles personal feelings such as hope and despair, joy and sadness. But overall, there’s something for everyone and it’ll definitely get you… MOVING! We know you’re going to love the album as much as we do!
The LP also features contributions from friends across the Punk and Indie community, including Jonah Nimoy (The Offspring), Kody Templeman (Teenage Bottlerocket), and Kelly & Luis (The Dollyrots), alongside members of The Screamers and more.
