At the start of the summer, Canadian dream-pop duo sundayclub released their debut single, “Bannatyne,” via Paper Bag Records, “a love letter to the city that shaped their sound.”

Now, the pair have announced their debut EP, Bannatyne, out October 31st, 2025, alongside their second single and video, “Halloween Mask.” “Halloween Mask” is a “plea for vulnerability” and the video shows Carmichael adorned in a mask, her face never fully revealed.

Hailing from rural Manitoba, Courtney Carmichael and Nikki St.Pierre started sundayclub “as a way of processing the strange limbo of early adulthood — that feeling of being caught between who you were and who you’re becoming.” The result was a blend of indie-Pop and dreamy Shoegaze textures with raw storytelling.
