Following her debut release, Diaries: Schumann, pianist Tiffany Poon will return to release new album Nature on November 7th, 2025. It is an album that explores the “power of French music in capturing the beauty of the natural world”.

She has also released the first single from the album, with Louis-Claude Daquin’s “Pièces de clavecin, Troisième Suite I. Le Coucou.”

Inspired by Rameau’s belief that music is rooted in nature itself, she curates an album that shows her “love of animals, woods, and water”. “Le Coucou”, which was originally written in 1735, translates in English to “The bird” but is also an informal way to say hello, making it a fitting opening track .

Tiffany Poon says:

Beginning the album with “Coucou” is a play on words..a casual greeting to the listeners in French via the voice of a curious cuckoo.

The piece is accompanied by a video of her explaining some of the details behind Nature along with a condensed performance of “Le Coucou”.

Nature, which Tiffany recorded at the Provence recording studio Miraval Studios (Pink Floyd, Sade, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) with producer Damien Quintard, brings together works by French composers across centuries, united by an admiration for the world around them.

For the 2025/26 season, Tiffany Poon will tour Europe and North America, featuring a programme inspired by Nature. She will be returning to London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, performing in Leipzig, Zwickau and Frankfurt, Germany, and making debut appearances at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and Salle Gaveau (Paris).

She will also make her debut at Vancouver Recital Society, followed by a U.S. Nature recital tour, including a return to San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre.
