On November 15th, 2025, Imperial Triumphant’s Steve Blanco (bass, keyboards) will be releasing Imprints of Man, a solo record that reimagines Imperial Triumphant’s dark soundworld for piano. Through the process of stripping away, Imprints of Man reveals the raw architecture of the band’s compositions. The track “Merkurius Gilded” is out now.

Recorded at GB’s Juke Joint NYC in November 2023, Imprints of Man was produced by Steve Blanco & Zachary Ezrin, engineered by Colin Mohnacs, and mixed & mastered by Benny Black at Solaris Sonor.

Blanco originally earned a B.F.A. degree in piano performance from Purchase Conservatory of Music. He works as a filmmaker and on a number of other creative projects as well as playing bass and keyboards for Imperial Triumphant. You will also find him performing in experimental group PAK, leading his own Steve Blanco Trio on piano, playing synths with his new band Electric Voice Cult, and rocking with El Chico Blanco.
