The Antlers, which is the recording project of singer/songwriter and guitarist, as well as Producer Peter Silberman, has announced new album, Blight, arriving on October 10th, 2025. The album single, “Something in the Air” is also out now via Transgressive Records at all DSPs and streaming services.
The new track “illustrates an ambiguous, unnamed threat that calls to mind any number of distressing headlines” and is accompanied by an official video.
Peter Silberman explains:
‘Something in the Air’ is about a looming threat that can take many forms. Precautions that would have seemed strange a decade ago have become ordinary routines – a new normal set against a backdrop of creeping dread. Meanwhile, doom lies dormant, waiting to erupt.

The Antlers will celebrate Blight with a special album release show set for Wednesday, October 22 at New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge.
Next year will see the band embark on a series of EU/UK headline dates, beginning March 5, 2026 at Dolan’s in Limerick, Ireland and then visiting Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels. North American headline dates will be announced soon.
