Münster, Germany-based Indie and Dark Pop band Maitland have unveiled their single, “Einstein-Rosen Bridge” via My Ruin Records, accompanied by an atmospheric video by Tunisian artist Intissar Belaid and photographer Moritz Hagedorn.

The track offers a first taste of the upcoming album, Falling into Place, due this fall on vinyl and digitally.

Blending backgrounds in Hardcore, Noise, Indie, and Electronica, Maitland create a sound that is melodic and atmospheric. Their nine-track debut was recorded largely in DIY spirit with support from Pogo McCartney (MESSER) and Peter Lagoda, then mixed and mastered by Role at Tonmeisterei, Oldenburg. Artwork was designed by Studio SUPERKOLOR, with cover imagery by Hagedorn.

Falling into Place is set to showcase Maitland’s wide sonic range, including “danceable uptempo tracks”, “melancholic Pop”, and “expansive Post-Rock textures.”
