Jessie James Is Ready To Move On With “So Long And Goodbye”

Multidisciplinary artist and singer/songwriter Jessie James has returned with new single, “So Long and Goodbye,” out now. With Folk and Punk leanings, the release comes ahead of her performance at Festirock this weekend.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Vincent Côté with artwork by Guillaume Marien, “So Long and Goodbye” displays James’ signature ukulele-driven style.

Jessie James says:

“So Long and Goodbye” is a raw, acoustic anthem about letting go of fake love and reclaiming your worth. With honest lyrics and a stripped-down ukulele vibe, the song tells the story of someone who’s finally done waiting, done doubting, and ready to move on. Simple, sincere, and straight from the heart—this track is for anyone who’s had enough and found the courage to say goodbye.

Originally from Montreal, Jessie James is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges visual and musical worlds. She first studied visual arts before finding a deeper calling in music. Drawing inspiration from a wide spectrum of genres, James remains connected to the Punk rock influences of her youth, citing bands like No Use for a Name, Face to Face, MXPX, and especially Tony Sly as formative to her sound.
