Nomadic singer/songwriter, Producer, and multi-instrumentalist Ben Cramer, a.k.a Old Sea Brigade, has just released If Only I Knew, Pt. 2. Written in collaboration with songwriter Trent Dabbs (Joseph, Allen Stone, James Bay), Part 2 expands on a sound that “bridges rock grit with indie-folk intimacy.”

The two-part EP series was “born from a duality of place and experience—two opposite ends of the world, each informing a different half of the project.” Born in Atlanta and formerly based in Nashville, Cramer recently embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Sweden with his partner and welcoming their first child.

While If Only I Knew (Pt. 1)was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden, Pt. 2, brings Cramer back to his roots, having been recorded through the “collaborative spirit” of his home studio in Nashville.

He says:

A lot of these songs were at least started in Nashville—if not recorded there. Part 2 is a little more eclectic-sounding. Some of it is more rock, while other songs are a nod to my earlier traditional indie-folk vibe. This half was definitely born in Nashville.
