Rise Carmine Returns With Psychedelic Journey “Come In Closer”

Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist and Psych-rock artist Liam Colbert, better known as Rise Carmine, has officially signed to Paper Bag Records has announced his forthcoming EP of by the name of Come In Closer set for release later this Fall.

Colbert first emerged under the name Patiohawk, releasing a self-produced album in 2017. In 2022, he reintroduced himself as Rise Carmine with No Coup For Anyone, produced by Grammy-winning Dave Schiffman (Weezer, PUP, Vampire Weekend).

Today, Rise Carmine has shared his latest single, the EP title track “Come in Closer”, a “psychedelic journey that transports listeners to another realm.”

Drawing inspiration from early ’90s Psych and Alt-Rock, Colbert’s music pays homage to past generations while reimagining those sounds for a new audience.
