Indie-Folk trio Oliver Hazard have released new single Workingman’s Folk,” from their forthcoming album, Raindrop River, out September 26th, 2025. The track “offers a powerful glimpse into the quiet dignity and hidden complexities of the working class.”

Oliver Hazard says:

’Workingman’s Folk’ is about someone you might know, maybe a relative, maybe just a good person who picked a simpler, more comfortable path. It’s about this idea of working hard, but using their work to avoid dealing with some of the more emotional or important stuff in life. There’s a bit of stubbornness in that lifestyle, but there’s also something respectable about it. I think the song tries to hold both of those truths at the same time, honoring the grind while also questioning what it might be covering up.

Produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Zach Bryan), Raindrop River continues to show Oliver Hazard’s committment to pursue an “unpretentious style”.

On August 16th, Oliver Hazard returns to Waterville, OH to host the seventh annual Oliver Hazard Day, a self-curated music festival that celebrates local culture, music, and community.

This year marks a major milestone as August 16th is being officially proclaimed “Oliver Hazard Day” on the Northwest Ohio calendar, a big recognition of the band’s regional impact. What began as a grassroots gathering has grown into a beloved summer tradition, drawing fans from across the country.

This year the event will feature performances from Rayland Baxter, Michigander, Rett Madison and Oliver Hazard. Following the festival, the band will embark on their co-headline tours with The Last Revel, Michigander and Susto starting October 8th in Englewood, CO and wrapping on November 8th, in Nashville, TN.
