Sydney Sprague has released another single from her upcoming album Peak Experience, which is out September 26, 2025. “Long Island” is “half prayer, half spiral with lyrics blurring the tension between impulse and restraint.” It’s accompanied by a music video.
Sprague says about the track:
When you have to choose between connection and self-preservation because the truth is too messy or just too impossible to communicate. It’s a desperate plea for a moment of relief from the horrors. It’s a genuine request for another long island iced tea.
Peak Experience is a culmination of years spent touring for Sprague, but also “overthinking, and writing her way through it all.”
“Long Island” follows the previously released singles and music videos for ”Flat Circle” “Fair Field” and “As Scared As Can Be”, which can also be found on the upcoming album.
Sydney Sprague will support The Format at the Arizona State Fair date of their string of reunion shows on September 27. She will then hit the road this Fall for a nationwide, headline tour in support of Peak Experience. Support comes from Gabrielle Grace. She will be hitting venues like Mercury Lounge in New York City, The Earl in Atlanta, and The Secret Group in Houston.
