Emo/Alternative group Sunday Morning has announced their debut full length album, Eternal Grief, set to be released on October 31st, 2025 via Open Your Ears Records. The lead single and music video for “Pulling Thorns” is out now.
The band shares:
Eternal Grief is an eloquent story of the battle with grief, the potential loss of a loved one, and acceptance. Expressed through the many influences that comprise of Sunday Morning, Eternal Grief gives listeners a full spectrum of sonic expression and emotion.
About the new single, they add:
The song includes the lyrics that inspired the title of the album. With its anthemic chorus, we knew it was going to be the first single. This song continues the theme of loss and how life can potentially be after it. It also features a sample from the 1943 film, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman.

Engineered by Rob Chiarappa (The Story So Far, Koyo) and mixed by Brett Romnes (Hot Mulligan, Anxious), the album sees the band building upon the foundation they’ve solidified over the past 6 years. They say: “The heavy parts are heavier, the melodic parts are catchier, and the lyrics are more personal and resonant than ever before.”
