Nashville-based singer/songwriter Andrew Combs has shared his new single “Calimocho Moon,” which appears as a digital bonus track on his 2024 album, Dream Pictures, available now via Chunk of Coal / Missing Piece Records.

Named after the Spanish drink made with red wine and cola, “Calimocho Moon” finds Combs “reflecting on a fateful night that brought him an everlasting love.”

Combs says about the new song:

Adam Wright and I were trying to capture that fleeting, golden moment when everything is new about a relationship — a taste, a look, a thrill of not knowing where it’s all headed, just knowing that you don’t want it to end.

Released last summer, Combs’ sixth studio album Dream Pictures reflects on a sense of contentment in both the artist’s personal life and career.

Co-produced by Combs and his drummer Dom Billett, Dream Pictures “embraces all the imperfections that come with the homemade tracking process.” With the exception of instrumentalist Spencer Cullum who contributed to pedal steel, the album was entirely recorded and performed by Combs and Billett.
