Double Helix Records has announced a new split 7” record featuring the bands Mercy Music and Danger Days, who have similar sensibilities including direct songwriting, high energy, and a love for Punk music.
The split is set for digital release this week on June 27, 2025, with the vinyl edition arriving July 11, 2025 and unites a British band with an American band to feature the reach of Punk music.

Las Vegas Punk band Mercy Music supplies the track “Big Fucking Mess.” Led by Brendan Scholz—with longtime collaborators Jarred Cooper and Ryan Seaman, the trio delivers a song that is “cathartic, chaotic, and deeply human.” This follows their Bill Stevenson–produced LP What You Stand To Lose.

Danger Days deliver “Wasted Time”, a “no-frills, heart-on-sleeve punk ripper.” Comprised of members from Millencolin, The Rabble, Movin In Stereo, and Flirting With Disaster, Danger Days is an international collective, including members from Sweden, the UK, and New Zealand, who are Nikola Sarcevic, Scott Lamb, Chazz Valentine, and Tony Smith.
