New York City and Cambridge, Massachusetts-based trio Bold Forbes have returned with their blend of singer/songwriter and chamber-Folk elements for a pair of new singles this year.

“Arroyo Seco” is their latest release, which has a “foreboding dramatic undercurrent”.

The band says:

‘Arroyo Seco’ is a meditation on cosmic justice, written over the course of several walks in the Brentwood neighborhood of Austin, Texas. The lyrics were inspired by the imagery from central Texas’s beautiful dry creeks, Exodus, and suburban living rooms.

“Arroyo Seco” blends Folk and Country songwriting with image-based lyrics that were also present in “Make Away,” the band’s previous 2025 release.
