Things I’ve Said Before is the title of the independent debut album from Alt-Folk artist Remi Goode, which is set for release on September 26th, 2025. New album track “Might Not Be True” is out now.
Born in Tucson, AZ and now residing in Nashville, TN, Remi (pronounced “RAY-mee”) is a trained classical guitarist and a former member of the Tucson Girls Chorus. Artists such as Suzanne Vega, Kathleen Edwards, and Sarah Harmer were inspirational to Goode.

She says about her songwriting:
I make an effort to get to the truth about a dynamic or situation with a person in my life. Rather than choosing a side or coming to a singular conclusion, the lyrics tend to lean into contradiction and ambivalence. I hope that, as a songwriter, I’m able to show that we can find clarity and understanding while leaving some things unreconciled.
Half of Things I’ve Said Before was not recorded by conventional means. The first five tracks were recorded in various bedrooms with Goode’s longtime creative and romantic partner, multi-instrumentalist Gabe Lehrer, who co-Produced the album with her. The last four songs were tracked in studios with additional musicians.
