Southern California power trio Night Demon have created a heavy sound that has led the charge for the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal movement. First released in 2015, Curse of the Damned was Night Demon’s first full-length album. Now with three studio albums and a live album under their belts, Night Demon will be commemorating Curse of the Damned with a 10th anniversary box set, including many never-before-seen items, including multiple vinyl, CDs, a cassette, a DVD, four posters, a comic book and much more.
Frontman and bassist Jarvis Leatherby says:
When compiling this box set, we wanted to make sure it was a definitive representation of our debut full-length album and touring cycle with nothing left on the table. Additionally, brought to you by Night Demon and Carve the Five (the brainchild of veteran toy designers Kyle Wlodyga & Brian Lew who was previously of Super7 and co-author of Murder In The Front Row), there will be an Axe Wielding Eugene action figure, as featured on the cover of Curse of the Damned.
The album’s sinister artwork introduced a key figure in Night Demon’s pantheon, Eugene. The power of axe-crazy Eugene is further enshrined in the “Blood Sacrifice” horror-themed comic that accompanied the release of Curse of the Damned.
To further commemorate this milestone anniversary, Night Demon will be performing the Curse of the Damned album in its entirety at select shows across the globe, notably at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on August 9th, 2025. In addition, the band will be co-hosting the Metal on Metal radio show on 88.7 WJCU on August 8th.
