Goldstate’s “Bad Blood” Is About The Descent From Hope Into Heartbreak

Goldstate is a UK-based Pop Punk band that builds modern sounds based on its early 2000s roots. Its members are no strangers to the stage, each bringing touring experience from other projects.

They have returned with Bad Blood” featuring UK artist Bronnie, a Pop Punk anthem produced by Joe and Sam Graves at Innersound Audio in the UK. With traces of early 2000s emo, “Bad Blood” is a “post-breakup soundtrack for anyone ready to sing it out and move on.”

Beyond the band, lead vocalist Ben Pritchard is also the co-owner of BSB TV (https://bloodsweatandbeers.tv/) , a platform dedicated to amplifying Alternative music.

Ben says about the new track:

We’ve all had a connection that began with spark, promise, and possibility, only to unravel into something bitter, broken, and unrecognisable. Bad Blood is about that rapid descent from hope into heartbreak. It’s the story of when something that once felt electric turns toxic.

“Bad Blood” is the second song of 5 singles to be released in 2025, before a full length album arrives at the beginning of 2026.
