Changeling is a Progressive Death Metal project led by fretless guitar player Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschläger and they have unveiled a stop motion animation video for the track “World? What World?”. The song is one of the highlights from the band’s self-titled debut album.

“World? What World?” is a song that captures a pivotal moment in the album’s psychedelic journey. “Repressed fears and horrors of the subconscious” are confronted on the track that features a brass ensemble, a gospel choir, the drums of Mike Heller (Malignancy, Raven, ex-Fear Factory) and a guest guitar solo from Andy LaRocque.

Following the success of Changeling’s self-titled debut, the Dolby Atmos mix of the album will arrive this week on Friday, May 30th, 2025. Engineered by Tom Geldschläger himself and Atmos-mixing veteran Eric Horstmann, the Atmos release brings a new dimension to the work.
