Blue Note has released Brandon Woody’s debut album, For The Love Of It All showcasing the trumpeter-composer’s work. The album is “a manifesto, a ritual, a hymn to the enduring power of love.”

Woody is joined by his band Upendo, consisting of Troy Long (piano, organ, Rhodes, keyboards), Quincy Phillips (drums), and Michael Saunders (bass), along with special guests Imani-Grace (vocals), and Vittorio Stropoli (aux synth).

Brandon Woody & Upendo will be touring across North America and Asia including performances at Atlanta Jazz Festival, Blue Note Jazz Festival at Hollywood Bowl, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival & more.
