Black Mynah is the project of Joanna Kucharska, a vocalist and bassist (formerly of Lonker See). Operating at the intersection of noir Shoegaze, Garage Rock, and Noise, the band “crafts melodic yet melancholic compositions”, which are personal songs with a groove, but also a raw, guitar-driven sound. The outcome is an atmosphere not unlike a “contemporary noir crime film.”

On May 23, 2025, Black Mynah will release their third album, Worried ’bout Madame, via Antena Krzyku.This marks the third major release of the project, now with an expanded lineup (bass, drums, guitar, synth), following a 2024 tour across Poland and Berlin.
