Alternative and Indie-Rock band The Fractals will release their newest collection, Rescue, on May 30, 2025 alongside a release celebration performance at 118 North in Wayne, PA. The four songs on the EP “explore the overarching desire to collectively make it through an international governmental apocalypse in 2025.” 

Composed of Philadelphia musicians who have been playing together for over three decades, the band includes vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, Kevin Hanson, bassist Jim Stager, drummer Erik Johnson, and keyboardist/theremin enthusiast, Mike Frank. 

Hanson says:

We had a blast recording this music. We are so excited for our fans, old and new, to hear it. We’ve got a lot of years and a lot of miles together, and making music for us is still a joy and adventure. We just rely more on ESP these days.

The track “Christopher Walken” is out now and is “a direct address to a close friend who believes he does a fantastic impression of actor Christopher Walken.” It’s accompanied by a video.

The Fractals will be performing select dates in support of Rescue, including an album release celebration at 118 North in Wayne, PA on May 30 with Naked Sun supporting.
