Reverse Pathogen’s ‘Accidentally Fetishized’ Rejects An Over-Produced Sound

Rock project Reverse Pathogen has announced the release of their new album, Accidentally Fetishized, set to arrive on May 16, 2025. The single “Bleed for This” is out now.

Spearheaded by Clayton Thomas, previously Ghostluvme, who worked in the Hip Hop space before returning to his Rock roots, their music features vintage mixing techniques, and raw instrumentation.

Entirely self-produced by Clayton, with veteran drummer Josh Freese (Foo Fighters, Devo, Vandals) on drums, Accidentally Fetishized is “a bold statement against the sanitization of modern Rock.” It sets out to “champion organic instrumentation and vintage production, rejecting today’s overproduced sound.”

The lead single, “Bleed For This,” is “an anthem of defiance, rejecting the superficiality of modern Punk Rock culture.”

Clayton says of the single:

It’s about anti-image, anti-clout. It stands against fake wannabe punk rockers and celebrates real rock music and authentic rebellion.
