The Nashville-based, Kentucky born singer/songwriter Adam Chaffins has released “Living Till My Dying Day” from his upcoming EP Trailer Trash, out on May 16, 2025, via Spirit Nashville Recordings / Fluid Music Revolution. On the new song, Chaffins “reckons with the demons of his past and confronts the uncertainty of his future while remembering that savoring the present moment is ultimately what’s most important.”

Chaffins shares:

It was deep into the uncertainty of the pandemic when my friend Bryan Simpson and I got together to write. What started out as a couple random lines – perhaps brutally outlining my life up to that point – turned into a song of hope, introspection and realization that life is meant to live and love with wide-open arms. Somehow all of that came together in the vessel of an upbeat, head-bobber of a tune that’s now a highlight of all my live shows.

Honoring his origins in an East Kentucky doublewide trailer, Chaffins uses Trailer Trash to tell “stories of American life from a distinctly Appalachian perspective.” Co-produced by Frank Rogers, along with Derek Wells, Mike Fiorentino and Chaffins himself, the EP finds Chaffins working with Nashville writers including Adam Wright, Bryan Simpson and Bobby Hamrick.

Chaffins debuted as a solo artist with 2020’s Some Things Won’t Last LP. Since then, he’s released a number of collaborations including last summer’s “Holdin’ On, Holdin’ Out” and “Gone As It Gets.” Prior to his solo career, Chaffins was a member of the Bluegrass band Town Mountain and spent many years as a session and touring musician for artists like Billy Strings, Lee Ann Womack and more.
